Bibha Simkhada: Chairperson of Green Tara Nepal

Bibha  has wide range of experience on Nepalese women’s health issues. She is active social worker and activist on women’s right issues. She got her Bachelors degree in Microbiology from Tribhuvan University, Nepal and Nursing degree from Robert Gordon University, Scotland, UK.  She is currently working as a  RGN in Scotland and also doing PhD in the University of Aberdeen and looking at Maternity care in Nepal. She is highly committed to improve women status in Nepal through research and advocacy.

Santosh Kadel: Programme Manager

Santosh has a Masters degree in Health Education and has worked for many years in sexual and reproductive health. His main experience is as a health promoter and programme co-ordinator for marginalised people in rural areas.

Monita Sharma: Health Promotor

Monita trained as an auxillary nurse- midwife and comes from the local field area. She particarly enjoys working in the community and making connections with local women. GTT has trained her in health promotion and she is well respected by community members.

Ishwori Nepal: Health Promotor

Ishowri has many years of experience working in Eastern Nepal as a human rights campaigner, women’s activist and health worker. She is particularly skilled in using participatory approaches in community work and engaging the poorest and most marginalised people in community programmes.
